Relation Grant Guidelines

Guidelines

We welcome grant applications from all interested teams or individuals. Our funding programs support a wide range of projects. However, we prioritize strong technical initiatives that add value to our ecosystem.

To increase your chance of acceptance, consider the following:

  • Present a well-researched concept or tested idea in the social sphere, ideally with evidence of previous work.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the project beyond the grant period, whether through dedication to the technology, additional funding sources, or an existing business model.
  • Have a team with proven experience in relevant languages, technologies, and a strong technical background.

In addition to these considerations, projects must meet the following requirements:

  • All code produced with the grant must be open-sourced, and it should not rely on closed-source software for full functionality.
  • Typically, teams are expected to complete one grant before applying for another.
  • We do not fund projects that encourage gambling, illicit trade, money laundering, or any form of criminal activities.

To support transparency, we require all projects to provide documentation explaining how the project works. Written documentation is a minimum requirement for funding, but tutorials or videos are also beneficial in helping new users understand your product.

We take licensing and the recognition of teams, both inside and outside our ecosystem, for their work very seriously. Unauthorized use of others’ work without proper attribution or indicating that it is not your own work as part of a milestone delivery will result in immediate termination. If you have any doubts about complying with a specific license, please reach out to us before submitting. We’re here to assist you.
